Dana Agostinone learned about Creating Communities when she was seeking an internship for the Entrepreneurial Studies Program at Anne Arundel Community College at the beginning of 2010.
This is her first experience with non-profit business. Her work as an intern was so enjoyable that she choose to accept a Board of Directors’ position so that she could continue assisting the organization.
She proudly hails from a Western Pennsylvania family of mushroom farmers and moved to the Annapolis area four years ago from the mountains of Colorado. Dana is currently enrolled at University of Baltimore in the Community Studies and Civic Engagement and she is also the owner of a commercial and fine arts photography business.
While acting as the Board Secretary, she also loves working with the Creating Communities Arts Mentorship Academy students.
